Remembering

Today I remember the events of seven years ago. I was a sophomore in college, on my way to Sign Language I class, when I saw the news reports that seemed so unreal. I remember those who courageously gave their lives, and those who had them stolen away.

I also honor all those who have kept and continue to keep me safe by serving our great country. May we never take for granted the freedom we have and those who have sacrificed their lives for that purpose.
